The Carpenters Brew
The Carpenters Brew

Welcome

You know that feeling when you smell coffee brewing first thing in the morning? It’s not just the aroma; it’s a quiet promise that the day is beginning, a moment to wake up and pay attention. In a lot of ways, the spiritual life is exactly like that—a tug on the heart that whispers there is something more, something deeper worth waking up to.

That is what I hope you gather here for at The Carpenter’s Brew.

I’m Father Christopher—but please, call me CJ. I am an Episcopal priest, but think of this as a space for seekers of all stripes. Whether you have been in church your whole life, or you aren't sure what you believe yet, we all share that common thread: a yearning for meaning and a place to belong.

We called this "The Carpenter’s Brew" because we are looking at the work of the Carpenter from Nazareth, but we’re doing it with a modern, conversational vibe. This is a space for reflection and connection. We are going to wrestle with the big questions, explore scripture, and share some life together—eventually through video and dialogue.

We look at things through an Anglican lens—which really just means we value scripture, tradition, and using our God-given reason—but our table is open to everyone.

Just like a good cup of coffee, God’s love is meant to be rich, comforting, and shared. So, wherever your journey has taken you so far, you are welcome here. Let’s pour a cup and grow together.
